I actively supervise research students across various levels, bridging industrial R&D at Finden Ltd with academic projects at Imperial and UCL.

  • John Morley (Jan 2024 – April 2026): Co-supervisor, Dyson School of Design Engineering, Imperial College London - Thesis Submitted. Thesis: “Mine waste as a sustainable alternative active anode material for Li- and Na-ion batteries”
  • Sam Riley (Jan 2024 – December 2025): Co-supervisor, Dyson School of Design Engineering, Imperial College London - Completed. Thesis: “Engineering Flexible Energy Storage: Materials, Mechanics, Metrology, and Manufacturing”
  • Hongyang Dong (Jan 2020 – Nov 2023): Second and day-to-day supervisor to PhD student, Department of Chemistry, University College London (UCL) - Completed. Thesis: “Machine Learning-Based High-Throughput Processing of Chemical Imaging Data”
